A bit about me...
Hi there! I'm Courtney Bush, a Surface Pattern Designer and Illustrator based in New Jersey, USA. I love to create feel-good pieces of art brimming with color, pattern & quirky characters using both traditional + digital mediums.
I graduated with honors from Philadelphia University with a degree in Textile Print Design and began my career in the fashion & home decor industries in NYC in 2002. I'm in love with the process of taking an idea from sketch all the way through production - after all these years, the excitement still hasn't worn off anytime I see a finished product out in the wild. I found this process so inspiring, that I launched my own line of home goods under the brand Declaration HOME, where I have a blast creating uplifting, colorful products for creative homes.
I am currently taking on new Freelance clients and would be open to an On-Staff Remote or Hybrid position within the NYC Metro or Greater Philadelphia regions.
